8800GTS DVI - HDMI problem

G'day guys.

Just finnished setting up my new build and have got my TV hooked up to my 8800GTS with a DVI - HDMI cable.

Problem is the resolutions are all screwy. I've set the TV output to 720p (max my tv supports) but when, for example, I set it as my primary monitor, it appears to crop the image by a sizable margin

Any suggestions?

Yes it's called overscan and it's perfectly normal for 720p over HDMI. Practically all tv's do this at 720p. So use vga instead to get 1:1 pixel mapping and native res. What tv is it?

It's an LG 26"

Tried ye olde VGA cable and it worked fine.

Bummer, was hoping to make good use of the HDCP on this card
