8800GTS/GTX

Is there much of a difference between these cards? I know the price is a big difference!

Just i read not to bother with GTX and get a GTS. Now its got me thinking..

Please help me.

How much do you have to spend? If you can afford it, just get the damn GTX already!

Reckon a 8800gtx will play all next gen games? Not necessarily in top spec just playable.

I don't know, because i've never played the finished product of these so called "next gen games".

We DON'T know when G90, R700, or whatever will arrive.

We DON'T know what the next gen games will require.

Given that most of the "last gen" cards are fine with good detail levels on many of the current games, i'm thinking an 8800GTX will last you well.

given the bad ports a gtx will probably be safe i dont think a GTS will tho imho
