8800GTS ongoing problems

As a few of you regular visitors to the Graphics Cards forum will know, I have been none too happy with my 8800GTS so far, and it seems to wake up each day with a new set of issues.

Today, the PC keeps re-booting in graphically intense stage of games and when Windows re-ups, the display has been reduced to 4-bit, low-res with no option to change it.

I have to re-boot a couple of times to get it back to normal, ie. 1920 x 1200 at 32 bit colour.

Is this a driver issue or a borked card do you think?

It's on a brand new Corsair HX620.

Can you test it with another?

I have two identical systems, with the only difference being the graphics card.

It has the same problems in both.

An 8800GTX has just arrived coureousy of City Link, will give it a go and see if I have the same problems.
