Simple to the point with witch utility i can overclock 8800gts specially the shaders as ati tool only overclocks memory and core ?

I've just got hold of a gainward 88oogts 512 and the only app I've found that works is "experttool" from gainwards site. Very simple (even I can use it), and gives options for core, shaders and memory and works very well. I found it was the only app that worked for me.:)

kk still did not get you tell me utility tool that works with new gts and i can oc the memmory, core and shaders ty

Yes I did, its "extertool" form the gainward's own site. Works with all 8800gts cards apparently. Try it out, its real nifty.

RivaTuner 2.0 fan speed & Overclock Guide

Read it and learn the 'Riva' way, trust me I'm not great with configs etc but I read that guide and now know it off by heart, Riva also offers programed fan control which is neat and is useful for the new 8800GTS if you want to keep it uber cool at low noise!

Overclocking, Programmed Cooling, what more could u want? :D

Well I just followed that guide, (didn't bother with the fan one, just want the overclocking one) made no difference at all. It already detects the drivers, 169.21, but theres no lower tab to enable overclocking, fan control , or anything for that matter, no lower option at all.

Have a peek in the rivatuner installation folder, there should be a file called something like Rivaconfig or similar, open it with notepad, scroll down and find the line of code from that link and amend it, save and your should be good.

If you tell me where to modify it with that I'll give it a go mate.:)
If you browse to "C:\Program Files\RivaTuner v2.06" or wherever you have installed the program too, there is a file called "RivaTuner.cfg". Open that with Notepad, and browse to the line:

G92 = 610h-61Fh

Edit that line and change it to:

G92 = 600h-61Fh

That line should be around line #60. Edit as above, then save and reload Rivatuner and you should have all the options such as overclocking and temperature monitoring.

Finally found the line (swear it wasn't there when I first looked:p). Anyway now works fine, I'll now have a go at the fan profile thingy "big wayne" suggested.
Cheers guys.:)
