8800GTS problems

ARGH!

What's wrong with it:

I started BF2142 and it went to that! It hasn't dropped when I closed the game.

4ghz bus speed on RAM???

I joined a server, get massive yellow artefacts, then it crashes my PC.

As you can see, low settings, no AA and 1024x768 res. Lots of artefacts:

I've never overclocked my card by the way, or even played with settings for it.

It didn't find anything after 3min, which is good? I get 120fps on the furry cube.

Thats some bad furry cube FPS. Something is definitley wrong, and 60c is hot for a GFX card at idle IMO

Well I don't know about the other problems, but I had the same thing in 2142 with the same card as you.

I lowered anything to do with lighting to "low" or "off" and that solved it. I seriously hope some new drivers come out to solve this though as I've noticed that it's foggier in 2142 than it was on my 7950gt.

I got 2142 running without artefacts, but still crap fps on low.

I guess I'll use the furry cube to see if I have fixed it, what should I get for the furry cube?
