Hi all,

At the beginning of June I bought an 8800GTS 320mb and up until now I have been running it at 1280*1024. Unfortunately, my monitor appears to have developed a fault, and so I am thinking about upgrading to a 20" widescreen.

Would my graphics card be sufficient to drive 1680*1050 in most recent games?

Many thanks,
gamer

Should be ok to tide you over until the G92's in November, but if your not intending to upgrade then, or for a while yet, then the 640mb would be better at that res as its going to struggle when the big guns start to appear, Crysis, UT3 etc...

I find that my 8800 320mb GTS is fine on my ws 20" monitor. I wouldn;t bother upgrading the card until the next gen come out later this year
