Just wondering the kinds of temps everyone else is getting? Mine seem unusually low? (stock cooler in an Antec 900)

Looks very good to me but is that at idle?

Mine is 50-52 at idle and goes to 75-82 under stress but it is overlocked.:D

everest doesnt seem to report a true temp on my GTS 320mb, im not sure to trust everest 100% - It says idle is at 42 degrees, but in Ntune (which i beleive to be more accurate) sas its at 52 degrees idle... and around 78 on full load OC'd to 620 / 900(1800)

Those temps are idle....here it is under load with rthdribl...btw it's even overclocked to 648/1027

they never get over 63 degrees. This is making me wonder if I can volt mod it on the stock cooler!

Everest reports same temps as Rivatuner with me give or take +-1
Not checked Ntune but since Everest and Rivetuner reports my card as 82 degrees under stress I would hate to discover it's really 92 degrees:eek:

You sure you looking at right temp in Everest? Mine lists two: AMbient GPU temp and GPU diode temp. The second one is always about 10 degrees higher than ambient at idle and I presume the GPU diode is the reading from the card which ought to be the same everything uses whether ntune, rivatuner etc.

Btw this is the lastest version of everest as of this week.

how though? Aren't all the coolers the same  maybe the antec 900 case is just badass :D

Or you got one exceptional card :D

Is that the best overclock you can get out of it though? Or did you just go for that and it works so didn't try higher?

The only reason I ask is that mine is slightly higher and the only thing holding me back seems to be the temps.

If I try and go past 650, once stressed and the temp goes past 82 degrees it freezes on me.

I've seen people on here watercool their cards and with the extra cooling they can get past 700 on the core.

With your temps I would say you ought to get this with your stock cooler

If you do, you will have a card almost to GTX stock speeds in some games. Bargain ;)

As soon as I go past 650 it freezes in 3dmark06...I'm considering volt-modding it. Just need a multimeter and some variable resistors.

700+ core would be nice...so would another 100mhz on the memory

Everest reads about 5 degrees lower than Rivatuner for me, and i trust Rivatuner more, try that and you will get a more accurate temp.

I can't get rivatuner to work on Vista 64...besides...the Ntune temps are trustworthy.
