8800GTS Vs. 2900XT

Interesting.. amazing how much difference there are between those figures though. I mean comeon... even a single gts640 looks like it was doing almost as good as 2 2900xt's in crossfire. That sounds slightly suspect to me.

main review i go by these days is the hardocp ones, they give fraps runs and also show whats the best settings to play the games at on each card.
 
I believe on another thread on here someone totally fabricated some test results to show how easy it is to do, i think the obvious has been pointed out already on here the 2 cards are close on performance at the end of the day it boils down to what you prefer manufacturer wise and what your willing to pay, if like me you are looking to upgrade from a Nvidia 6600GT AGP either of the cards will be awesome by comparison something to bear in mind.
