I have started noticing tonight flashing white dots they look like on screen every so often, they come and go am guessing this aint a good thing and a gfx prob ?

Its nothing major but as i say they keep coming and going.

Have you overclocked your card at all if so your probably getting artifacts from the card getting too hot? If it is overclocked clock it down slightly.

Not overclocked at all was just playing 2142 with no issues then just noticed the white dots when i was browsing the net.

Strange you would see the dots in game not browsing the net. I had a few problems with my GTs and it was a driver issue. There are some guru 3D ones out that have made my rig more stable. I dont know if it will help but it worth a try?

Noticed them in games now too, like i say very minor ammount but i guess its only set to get worse.

I will add i only really noticed this happening when i made a partician on my 200 backup drive for a dual boot into vista. When i game on xp(on my 75gig raptor) i get speckles and get a few on desktop but when i try gaming on vista i get speckles but my screen keeps flashing black then back to the game.

Is it possible its anything to do with the dual boot side, for some odd reason i can't unplug the 200gig and boot into xp it just won't boot unless i have the 200 gig working.
