8800GTS..

So, I have a 8800GTS 320mb, and I can pick up another on fleabay for £65, would it be much of a boost over what I've currently got? Would it work on my rampage formula? Also, I've not looked into SLI since the voodoo 2 days, and back then mixing cards was a no go, is that still the case? Or am I better off getting something else?

Hi MasterPlan1,

Your motherboard doesn't support SLI but has good support for Crossfire.

Buy a single Radeon HD4870 or HD4890 and you will be sorted, sell your older nVidia 8800GTS 320MB at auction to offset your upgrade cost

Wont work on your current board, for sli youll need an nvidia chipset board, ie 650i, 680i, 750i, 780i.
