I've got an 8800GTS 512 in my rig and my cpu is watercooled. I can get a Zalman waterblock from places on the interwebs for ~£30. Would you have thought it was worth the effort at this stage or to simply put the £30 towards a new card in the long term? Put it this way, I'm a student so a new Gfx card is out of the question right now, I may be more inclined to splash out once the fermis are out and they are either better than the 5xxx series or drive the prices down.

Your card is worth 40-50 + the 30 you'd have from not watercooling gives you 70-80 as a budget for a new card.

That's knocking on the door of a 4870 which would be a big big leap in performance.
