Are there any coolers for the 8800GTX?
I don't want to spend more than £15 as it is an old card that i use for testing.
ATM, it easily reaches 100deg and dies!

It is a Dell one and i think it is reference design.

Thanks

Probably will, but before wasting some TIM i'd rather get a new cooler to go with it. It is a DELL card, so TBH, it's bound to be ****. They had to replace it twice bacause it melted (a bit)!!!

Something wrong there..what case do you have them in ??

The 8800gtx stock coolers work fine,
I still have two 8800gtx cards here..

Just take off the top cover and check for dust,no need to remove the heatsink..

I had them in the Dell XPS 420 case. Now it just lies around until i sell/RMA my current gfx card when it goes into my TJ07

Do what chaparral asked you to do and at least check to see if it's dust. It takes just a few minutes to do. If you post again about a cooler without trying this then you're just being lazy. My old stock cooler was fine until dust built up and I had to clean it a few times. Simple job.
