8800gtx memory?

quick question: how much memory does nvidia 8800gtx have, because msi afterburner says it has 768mb of memory, but the graphics card properties in control panel says it has 4095mb of total available graphics memory...
 
768Mb onboard. The rest will be what the OS can use paged from system memory (which is a lot slower) if the card runs out.
 
fair enough, although i wish it did have 4GB memory... i wouldn't have to replace it for another 4 years :)

Yeah... i'll probably give it to my sister when i've finished with it. I've kept it going for ages though, i mean i've baked it in the oven twice to fix cracked soldering :) To be honest, i'm surprised it survived.
