Sir Random said:Actually, the new CP is ok when you get used to it. You need to install nTune to enable the 'Performance' features in the CP, and then you'll have access to temps, fan speed, and clocks.
Will that allow me to use coolbits too on the 97.44s?lay-z-boy said:open regedit
navigate to,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvCplApi\Policies
change these values:
ContextUIPolicy
CplGroupUIPolicy
TaskbarUIPolicy
all to 3, close regedit and your done, best of both worlds.
I wouldn't say there's a 'huge' amount missing, I haven't missed anything other than "Max frames to render ahead". However, reverting to the old CP means you can't select the new AA modes or settings, which is a much bigger loss.lay-z-boy said:No it isnt, there is a huge amount missing and it is still very unrealiable, the fact you have to install ntune (which is a real dodgy app) to get temp reading is a joke, simple regestry edit is a much better solution, imo.
