just put my x1950xtx in my spare system so im needing a new gfx card

And i was wondering would a 8800gtx would work with an asus a8n sli se .

Or should i just get a dx9 card?

I want to be honest... and say... if you have an X1950XTX, there is NO need to upgrade, you are far better off waiting for the refresh and/or R600.

If you do have £500 to burn though, by all means pick up the 8800GTX!

I couldn't say yes or no but the motherboard does have x16 PCI-x ports so it should in theory.
