Just a quickie, what are the average temps on stock cooling idle and fully loaded?

Got a mate who has just gone to the 158.22's and his temps have shot up 20 degrees....

mine is currently idling at 57 degrees. it went up to 64 degrees whilst playing quake 4.
all stock, no overclock, but I do have 4 120mm fans blowing onto it from the side

blowing onto it? so where is the actual air flow? where it exhausting all this heated up air to?

thats still pretty cold... he also has no option to increase the fan speed to 100% any more, and his idle temps were at 80°c

yeah, i lost the direct fan control on mine in vista, whichever drivers I install :( I hope they fix that.

I have 4 120mm fans blowing in from the side of the case, 1x120mm blowing out at the back in the middle, and 2 80mm fans blowing out at the back at the top.

this should give you the idea ( bearing in mind the side panel is off and the 4 fans are on that !)

Mine idles at 68c, and load is in the high 80s at stock fan speeds. I set the fan to 85% when gaming (with Rivatuner), which brings idle down to 59c, and keeps load temps in the 70s.

I haven't noticed any change in temps going from 97.92 to the 165.01 drivers

8800GTS, idle is 70C and load is 85C, I use the default variable fan control so it is at 60% most of the time until it hgets >80C then the fan speed ramps up.

The card is in a watercooled case with only a 80mm exhaust fan running at 7V as I hate noise :D

my is idle = 52c after a few hours of hard gaming 71c tops.
using rivatuner 2.1 to rev the fan to 95%.

but i also have 4 120mm fans blowing onto it from the side in a fully loadad cm 830 stacker case..... .

olly thats a lot of wires u have there glad im not the only one lol as for 8800GTS mine idles at 50c and under load goes no higher than 61c all i have is one fan at the front and one at the back works a treat, also my core duo 2.4ghz idles at 30c and underload it hits 41c seem i have a good airflow in my case also my house is always quite cool 2 which im sure must make a difference.

also forgot to add people were saying that on river tuner version 2.0 which i have the fan control was not working on it, it works for me i have it set to 80% think its on about 50% by default also checked in everest ultimate and it said my gpu fan was running at 80% so dont see the point of upgrading to river tuner 2.1 as i dont overclock or do anything like that really

My 8800gtx clocked 620/1.9, idles between 60-67c depending on room temperature & whether using vista or xp (so much for the new OS being green :D )
After being under load for a while it can hit 90c.
It actually runs cooler with the side off my case, even though the it has 2x 120mm fans

Putting the hard-drives at the top & leaving lots of space around the graphics card really helps, though an old 4400 running at 2.7 does not help lol.
