I've got a BFG 8800 GTX and I'm interested in getting a 4870, probably the 'Gainward ATI Radeon HD 4870 "Golden Sample" 1024MB'
Thing is, I've not been able to get a good idea of whether the speed difference between them is worth the upgrade?
Has anyone here made that particular jump? can you advise?
I run my games at 1920x1200 usually with 4xMSAA and I have a q6600 @ 3.2ghz, so the cpu shouldn't be a bottleneck (i hope!)
