Well, time to go 88gt i think, and i have 2 concerns.

First off, is there a full cover waterblock for these cards yet? I'm pretty sure i've seen an EK block, but i can't for the life of me find one to buy.

Secondly, and i think i'm fine on this one, but, as the cards are pci-e 2.0, do they work in the 680i boards. I've read that they are not meant to be compatible with pci-e 1, are fine with v1.1 (and obviously 2.0) I was sure this board was v1.0, but i'm hearing mixed opinions on this, can anyone definately tell me that the 88gt will work in a 680i based board?

TIA!

Ok, scrap question #1, found them

My motherboard is older tech than yours and my 8800GT works fine with it so I'd have thought that you'll be ok.

Fantastic stuff, now to find out whether the GTS is worth the extra, or to find somewhere with the GT in stock...
