I have no need to put a sim in it at all. I don't want anything shown in the top left so it wouldn't be resolving anything for me by puting one in.

Only if you want 3G, rumour to be out in 2 Month's time.

You can bet that it'll be £100 more and then will be a few months before its cracked like as easily as the current iPhone is.

Id say at least that, auction buyers are often plain stupid! For example there are a number of 8gb iphones on the the auction site going for 200+.

Edit: If you bought it from a retail store, many will return it for a 10-15% reduction.

......just in the process of reading justins ultimate guide...but when i try to download ziphone it keeps going to a page called the iphone project then i cant see any download links...

also did anyone else have to sign and date an iphone piece of paper thingy??

Justin's guide links to iLiberty which also works, you can google ziphone if you like.

And no, i signed nothing in the O2 shop when i got it last week.

As for Pwnage, it has more features on Mac than PC

i got mine from carphone warehouse and just had to sign something stating that i had itunes blah blah and to use this /activate this iphone i must activate it within 7 days using itunes

The CPW stuff is basically just making sure you know that you are buying something that will do nothing unless you have a PC/Mac with iTunes and activate a contract.. just so thick people don't wonder why it doesn't make calls.. and thick CPW people don't mis-sell it

Unlocks it completely. The only carrier you can't use is 3.
