Morning Chaps,

I'm sure this has been asked an answered, but, whilst bumbling through me BIOS ysterday it showed both of my RAM modules running at 1333Mhz.

I had to check because I was sure I bought 1600Mhz RAM. I have x2 overclock profiles on the BIOS (3.7 & 4.0) but neither of those were running it was at standard clock settings.

I have no idea how to change the speed to 1600Mhz? I would have though that it would have done it automatically when I built it?

Mobo is an ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0.

Would someone mind giving me a laymans terms guide to sorting this out? Getting some upgrades installed today and want to make sure eveything is tip-top before BF4 tomorrow.

Ta

Josh

Once in the BIOS go to AI Tweaker and drop down to memory frequency, change this the correct speed :)

Edit: You may also need to check the voltage, scroll down a little further on screen, I have my Kingston ram at 1.58v.
Check page 3-7 off the manual.

Smashing cheers very much for that, I'll have a check through the manual and see.

Thanks again
