Hi

I have this 8Pack RAM at 2x8GB https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...3200mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-08l-tg.html

Looking to move to 32GB. Is it worth waiting for the stock to arrive and get another pair? Effectively going to 4x8GB.

Part of me thinks its better to just buy a 32GB kit (2x16) but its more expensive even at the 3600 C18 settings.

CPU/Board I have is:
Ryzen 3600 (Will go to 5 series eventually)
B450 Mortar MAX

Thanks.

I just bought another two. Runs fine at XMP on my board, with both a 3700X and a 5800X3D.

How recent was your order? I left webnote asking if it has been discontinued or just waiting for stock. Im hoping its just stock.

You can buy 32GB of 3600MT/s for £15 more than that 8Pack RAM, then sell your 8Pack and end up having spent like £30 all in. Unless you are messing with the timings and overclocking it, then it seems a waste to have it in the first place.

Yea, I got way too much into reading b-die/dual rank etc and got carried away. When I was reading about ram years ago lol. I guess the main hindrance is convenience and there is prbbly not many in the used market looking for these old rams.

Whats the closest pair from other brands I can with combo with this 8pack ram? Might be cheaper to just get another 2x8GB 3600 Mhz and overclock the 8pack ram to match?
