I am very proud to report a great win for OCUK Pro team in the Pro Cup on HWbot. I did all the benching this time with Hivizman sidelined!!!

I posted some scores yesterday to take the win in this most prestigious competition on HWbot.

The most notable of these submissions was a WR in Catzilla 720p in which I used 4930K at 6g and ASUS DC2 @ 1975/1975.

Also within the comp I set a Cinebench world record for 4 Core CPU with Haswell at almost 6.4ghz with this submission.

The power draw is very low and heat also. Literally pouring a teaspoon of Ln2 at a time or the cards dropped too cold.

The power boards are mounted just so perfect control of voltages exists and they get clean power. With this card you could not just mod core. You mod core you had to mod em all. Some strange protection not on many cards. This is why 9 PCI X connectors just to run the card not for power draw.

Thge E Power board is designed for 1.8+ V through Titan, 780ti or Titan Black hence why they have three PCI X connectors per board. We know 780ti and say 1.65v is drawing like 1000+ watts and teh board must handle this.

They are truly a unique and great product for modding.
 
Well I spent a few hours yesterday afternoon with 8 pack and it was very enjoyable.

The skill involved and all the meters he has soldered onto the boards/cards to regulate the voltage and speeds on the fly in windows in truely astounding. He was like a swirling tornado arms and hands everywhere. Balancing the temps and ensuring they don't drop too low with too much LN is a skill in itself and he was only doing single GPU card benchmarks, I imagine going tri or even quad SLI would be a major thing to view.

Overall very impressed with 8 packs skills!
 
Watching 8 pack smash a world record yesterday was a great achievement and I was pleased to see him do it personally.

The video for this needs some minor editing due to some strong language (emotional 8 pack is fun to watch - haha), but I will edit it later and post it for you all to see.

8 Pack put my Antec HCP 1300w through some serious testing yesterday, the results of which certainly confirmed to both me and him that Antec's HCP range is one of the best, if not the best high end PSU ranges on the market today.
8 Pack was particularly impressed with the, stability, the cables and especially the OC-Link feature which allows him to daisy chain two PSUs together, so effectively having a single 2600w PSU working his system.

I thank 8 pack for allowing me to spend some time with him yesterday. Thanks pal.
 
I do find it a bit shocking with health and safety and what not, 8 pack so casually pours liquid nitrogen or whatever it is with no gloves on :eek::eek:
