MSI's Lightning Ti is a product that will never see retails channels. Basically due to Nvidia's Green light certification and the fact it does not qualify.
The card to the naked eye looks exactly the same as the 780 Lightning. The only two differences are the GPU is obviously full fatty GK110, 780Ti and the memory on the GPU is Samsung for high efficiency even on LN2.
Air testing no need!! I waded straight in with LN2 testing on the RIVE BE board and with an air cooled 4930K at 4875. I clocked the RAM abit to 2666 C10-12-12-21 1T in Quad channel.
As you can see from the results below the card maxed out at 1700mhz Core boost clock and 1900mhz mem clock on MSI XOC bios. This was with only 1.44v at temps of -140 loaded. Anything above 1.45v meant the card shut down under OCP/OVP. With 1.55v this card is an 1800+ card for sure so I need to work with MSI on getting more volts into the card so I can unlock this potential further. So far so good though 1700mhz can not be sniffed at with 1.44v. Green light what a pain ass, I am sure many forum users would like a lightning Ti in there systems and I dont blame em!!!
