8Pack Xtreem 4500 ... is it worth watercooling this? how to add temp sensor?

So I'm building an external water box and the time has come for the blocks. Already got a CPU and GPU block.

At the same store, there was a good deal on some memory blocks from Alphacool.

My use case is, I'm always tweaking memory, right now using it at 1.5v 3800CL14 but would like to lower some of the sub-timings that are voltage-dependent.

I have a dual 60mm fan cooler directly at the fans right now and the air flow is good inside the case.

The problem is that I don't have a clue at what temps they are running.

So my 2 questions are:

a) Is it worth it to watercool the DIMMs? I know in the majority of the cases it is not but I would like some more opinions than my less than scientific take :)

b) What's the best way to add temp sensors for the ram? I guess is opening it up, adding the sensor inside in one of the memory chips, and closing it? I guess that will give me lots of headaches with the heat spreaders fit :(

Thank you so much!

Well, that will get you the temp of the heat spreader not of the mem modules ... my guess it will be a few degrees cooler, plus if you have good airflow. :x
