Hello,

I Am hoping i can get some help and support on an issue i am faced with.

Specs:
BeQuiet 900 R2 pro Case
Asus ROG Hero 7 X470 - EK MonoBlock
Ryzen 2700X - EK MonoBlock
16GB 3600 Dominator Pro
EVGA 2070 - EK WaterBlock with backplate
X2 2TB Samsung EVO SN850 NVME
HX750i PSU

Randomly installed CPUz the other day and noticed that my 2070 is running at 8x and not 16x.

I do have two NVME drives installed but that should not make a diff, should it?

I have today drained down my system and took the 2070 out, cleaned the pins and re-seated but faced with the same issue post re-build.

Anyone help?

Is 2070 in top slot nearest cpu?

Once you have checked the BIOS I would not worry too much if you can't find the answer. It is most likely just a reporting issue. I mean mine reports it is 2x and I am certain it is not!

Yes it does on my motherboard anyway at least, the m.2 drives use up the PCIe lanes so reduces the gpu to x8 speeds. Don't think it really restricts it much. I will probably disable my 2nd m.2 and try it one day to test out if there is any real world difference.
