9/11 - Controlled demolition?

30-40 feet? Not sure what you were watching.

it amazes me people trust the government so much. All that 9/11 did for the U.S. government was to enable it to do everything it wanted....invade the middle east, something it was planning for years, to step up 'big brother' on its own citizens, the patriot act was passed..something that would never have happened before 9/11.. all going towards the police state.

It makes me sick thinking of all the international laws the U.S. breaks, its complete disregard for any authority.... it even owes the U.N. well over 1 billion dollars.. in fees its supposed to pay every year... you can really see its dedicated to the war on 'terror'.

So much many beneficial factors for them,

9/11 was inside job, of that I am 99% convinced. As for the science of the collapses - to be honest I can go either way. There are a lot of points where the official explanations require a lot of believing and are as far fetched as some of the conspiracies. And of course some of the conspiracies are based on some very wobbly science. Lots of scientists and engineers go against the official explanation and lots agree with it. Really, I've read all this stuff over and over and I still can't decide.

As for the actual events tho - almost certainly an inside job. I don't know why people have such a hard time believing it either - this sort of thing has always gone on. "false flag" attacks are one of the oldest tricks in the book for governments to get what they want from their people.

It turns out that UCAS has managed to botch its software so that universities can't see our raw AS marks, only our grades. By your logic, every AS student in the country is to blame for this.

It's not about trusting the government, it's about common sense. In fact, practically all conspiracies are dreamt up because people want to believe that the government is up to no good, and all the supposed evidence is just incorrectly extracted from what there is to go on and simply supplements the argument that the government can't be trusted.

Perfect hit

The width of the building is about the wingspan of the plane. You try driving your car down a really tight road at 100mph.

Yea, but now it gets harder to keep it a secret. Its been 5 years and no one has come forth to say it was an inside job. Of the hundreds of people that would to have been in on it no one has come forth. WHY?

We were talking about the planes which hit the twin towers. The pilot of the plane which crashed into the Pentagon must have been considerably more skilled, but still very much possible for a relative amateur to pull off. Bare in mind that the pilot did clip street lamps as he went in (more evidence that it wasn't a missile), so he didn't get it perfect.

If a real airline pilot said that to me I would probably believe it.
Do you think the tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists who have brainwashed you into believing against the official story have pilot experience? I highly doubt it.

Someone been watching Fahrenheit 9/11, have they? That's absolutely full of holes, too.

Thats a BS analogy. The plane didnt have to contend with bushes or trees on either side of it. It came in high over the other buildings and there were no obstructions. Anyone with any knowledge of how to fly a plane can fly it into a building like the WTC.

Fahreinheit 9/11 is a load of ***** I will admit. I think Michael Moore is as bad as the people he is trying to ****. Hes a manipulating liar.

Been reading a lot about 'data mining' and data collection thats going on in america at the moment, and it was going on about the government and the benefits of 9/11 on their pushing through laws in the midst of everyones terror.

You call that a perfect hit?

Not at the WTC, *that* was straight and level flight.

The Pentagon is *massive* and there is damage to stuff leading all the way up to the hole. Lamposts sheared off, a generator knocked off it's pedestal. I still reckon I could have a good go at flying a big plane into an even bigger building no problem.

Or you can look at the flip side. 9/11 made it clear to a lot of people that we are not safe and that certain steps need to be taken to make sure there are not people in the US or abroad that are activlely trying to do harm to US citizens.

iirc the 90s were before 2001.

I can't believe people are still debating the Pentagon crash, thread revival yet again....

There are far bigger and provable questions about 9/11.

This isn't just the Pentagon, the initial point of the thread was the possibility of controlled demolitions of the twin towers.

What bigger questions?

Like I said, I want to hear it from a airline pilots mouth.
Then go google it, there are plenty of posts ou there by airline pilots saying that what happened in NY was possible to do with minimal training.

Probably the purple lizard people or MJ12. My guess is his tinfoil hat needs adjusting though.
