9.1's out!

Big problem is CoD 4 & 5 stop working and close after 4 or 6 maps, never during a game, always as the map is changing?
Any ideas?

same thing here with those games but also in GRID. always crashed when the resolution changed, end of map -> menu /splash screen, or when alt+tabbing.

9.1 + 4780x2

Driver Sweeper works fine in XP, ive never had any probs here with it, plus it only takes seconds, but Vista's another story, causes loads of problems in there, so if i was using Vista, id just use the ATI uninstaller (like i do in Win 7). :)

Had issues with Fallout 3 crashing randomly due to atiumdag.dll on 9.1s.
Went back to 8.12 and all is fine again.

Roll on 9.2!...

programs like drivercleaner are useful - sometimes things do go wrong. However i think its obvious the need to use them is totally blown out of proportion.

I get the exact same thing with Left 4 Dead (as mentioned above). I've never seen a CTD during a round, but I've had at least 5 now on map changes. Same with F.E.A.R 2 - had 2 CTDs when the game is saving the game.

Sounds like it's a bug related to hard disk use? (bizarre as it sounds)

Well i installed the 8.12's over the previous and the 9.1's overs the 8.12 with no issues, my games look fine, but, lower FPS and the damned annoying crash in-between maps, will be going back to 8.12's when i get home from work.
