after installing the 9.3's i have had the stupid shadow problem return in WoW, I have to turn off the shadows otherwise the walls will flicker. 9.1's were spot on. Anyone else found this or is it just me :D

im with you, they are utter crap - have rolled back to 9.2's.

to be honest i'm liking my 4870, but the driver support/development for ATI isnt leaving me too impressed!

Running a mix of 4850 and 4870's on both XP and Vista here no problems at all.

Found it gave me a small boost in vista too.

I'm getting an occasional black flicker of the entire screen in CoD4 under XP64. This is my first ever encounter of any sort of driver problem after a long driver problem free history of both ATI and Nvidia :/

No issues really apart from not being able to install 1950pro in win7. Was sure there were going to drop support in 9.4.... No way to install the vista 9.3 driver either, so am using vista 9.2 driver for win7 and the 1950pro. No issues so far on main machine though.

I hope all people who are having problems with the new drivers tried running the gfx card at stock clocks to see if the problems go away.

Don't assume that the gfx OC should be ok no matter what the driver changes are made as you would not assume a CPU OC is ok no matter the program your running on it.

Myy 4850x2 is at stock, has been since i had it. Has no one else had a drop off in performance? Granted I've only tried it in Warhead and clear sky but either way, surely an improvment should be in order!

Performance is not my focus as that will change with drivers & that is to be expected, good or bad. My point is with glitches & possible CTD & BSOD with new drivers due to some peoples gfx OC.
Depending of the drivers i can OC between 825-850. on 9.3= 825Mhz on 9.2=850Mhz. 9.3 maybe using more of the GPU making it run hotter like prime does to the CPU. So even tho my OC maybe less my performance maybe greater due to more utilisation.
