How do you guys connect so many fans?

I've got a 360 rad with 3 fans and 6 x Corsair LL 120's white LED fans coming for my Lian Li 011D

Do you use Y splitters or a fan control hub ~ £12 or do you use the commander pro @ £60?
My basket at Overclockers UK:
1 x EK Water Blocks EK-Cable Y-Splitter 2-Fan PWM (10cm)= £2.99
1 x Corsair Commander PRO RGB LED Controller + Fan Hub - Black= £64.99
1 x Corsair RGB Fan Hub Controller - Black= £11.99
Total: £88.67 (includes shipping: £8.70)

Personally I have had 4-6 fans running off of a cheap splitter. Distributes the PWM control signal but is powered by SATA. Nice and tidy, and cheap enough to think of more as a cable management tool than a build component.

The smarter controllers are nice if you like software control - my motherboard is old enough that I just use Speedfan.

I've used splitters to run 2-3 fans from one mobo fan header. Any more that that I always use PWM fans and PWM hubs/splitters with PSU power and PWM control from mobo.
