Got this email through to me today and thought it might be of use to someone.
The offer is for £40 but you have to pay £8 for delivery.

I haven't used the company before but they look pretty good. They seem to have won a lot of awards. I might buy the offer tomorrow if people have had any good experiences with them before?

Only 2 days left to buy the offer, but the voucher lasts until 7th July (at least I think so looking at the livingsocial page).
You are automatically put on for the monthly deliveries but have no obligation to continue and can cancel after you've received the first box.

Tempting, but the description is just too vague for me. Far too difficult to gauge the value for money. I would give them a ring and enquire if the offer didn't finish at 5am.

I get a weekly veg box from Riverford and it's fantastic. Pretty reasonable value, great quality, a good selection and I really like the occasional curve-ball they throw in there (Kohlrabi? Ok, why not?...). I've been considering having meat delivered as well, the quality on offer in Sainsburys has deteriorated in the past few years due to rising wholesale costs. My local butcher is OK, the meat is basically premium supermarket quality (cows fed on grass and grain, pigs are outdoor reared rather than free range, etc.) but hung properly. The nearest place selling the really good stuff is Buttercross Farm, but it's a half hour drive in to the countryside, in the opposite direction to any and all civilisation so I rarely make the trip.
