Hi,

Can someone help me spec a £900 build? No monitor required, no PSU required (just grabbed an overkill HX1000i for ~ £105, and no OS required. Oh and no SSD/HDD required as I've got a few spare SSDs lying about. Just need to know what you all think in terms of getting the Haswell or worth getting the Skylake, not sure, as I'm trying to get most performance I can for gaming/streaming/rendering videos.

Thanks
Loos

Cheers Stu. The 1000W Corsair Platinum PSU I got should easily handled these correct? How reliable is Zotac GPU, I've seen the name around but always assumed it as a budget brand.

Plenty of power, two cards and lots of fans/drives etc.

Zotac seem alright. Or have a look at the other same priced 970s such as evga/gigabyte.

K, back, grabbed an EVGA GTX 980Ti instead. CPU wise, 6700K or 5820K? And can someone recommend me a good CPU cooler and case that can hold all of it.

Seems the 6700K is pricier than 5820K but has cheaper mobo so overall about the same price. I do a lot of multi-tasking (video editing, rendering, recording, streaming) and gaming as well. Which would be the better option and what's a decent overclock on each I should go to?

The i7 5820K will be stronger if the software can make use of the extra cores.
If you go for an X99 setup then get a quad set of Ram as well.

I am not that clued up on overclocking, but I have seen reviews getting around 4.5GHz with the i7 5820K. You will get a more definitive answer from the likes of Stulid on that though.

You want something like a Corsair H110i GT to keep it in check for a good overclock.
The Fractal Define S will accommodate everything, unless you want something different ?
