Hi friends

I'm still clawing pennies together for my build but here's one for a friend of mine that I could use help with, I know you guys like a challenge.

price to beat is £800( i reckon it could be done for under 9 ). If anyone can do it its you people.

He uses Sony Vegas pro 11 and auto desk Maya, photoshop.
so hes looking at an i7 build ( 3770k) .

He also has gaming needs, borderlands 2 mainly so needs a decent card, preferably nvidia for physx.

He doesn't need monitor or keyboard, mouse. his res is 1920 1080.

Also he wants an ssd for his os, he was looking at a 32gb one,but I think he would be better of doubling that.
Any takers?

Thanks idleman, does the 550 watt give plenty of headroom. also wouldn't the stock cooler be good enough for the time being. I know its the k but i don't think hes gonna be overclocking just yet.
Also no he hasn't got any other components.

The Psu is more than sufficient for his needs, as the mobo specced is for a single Gpu setup. And yes, stock fan will be okay.

Just seen what you said about the windows 8 preview, how does that work? does it need to be downloaded from Microsoft? how long can it be used?

When you download the the Iso, you will get a one time key to activate it. And is good to use for about 180 days. Just follow the link.

Ah nice case choice,(300r) thats what iv chosen for my build.
would you say the MSI GeForce GTX 650Ti OC Power Edition would be a better budget card for him considering hes not a heavy gamer?

Whats the routine when setting up a ssd for the first time, what needs to be done in the bios.Iv installed os's many times but getting the ssd set up is different yes?
