For £900 I would recommend an Intel build - any sub £700 I would recommend AMD.

+1 For Lee's build.

Under 1K i would say it Comes down to preference and what it is used for. Over 1k i would say intel. personally i prefer AMD > intel.

Me too, but I think the £900 bracket would get you better performance from Intel when it comes to gaming.

Decent, but considering what you already have been specced it isn't great atall. Firstly, you're paying £21 for a stock cooler (and an extra 2 years warranty but you won't need that).

The case isn't great either, the airflow is poor. The Ronin is a much better case for similar money.

The PSU is a bit pants too, considering for £5 more you can get a 550W gold rate PSU by one of the best manufactures there is (its not modular but it doesn't need to be in a case of this size.

EDIT: the ram he specced is Out of stock also,.:)

This is what id do:

Ok thanks :) can I ask why the CPU you have chosen is cheaper then the one I chose and is 550w enough power sorry psu power confuses me haha :)

The oem version doesn't come with a heatsink/fan, and also has 1yr warranty. The Retail version has a heatsink/fan and 3yr warranty.

CPU failure is very rare, and the Intel heatsink/fan is meh so unless the retail version is the same price then it makes sense to save £20 on the oem version.

As there is a very good cooler specced (Coolermaster) the intel one is redundant anyway.
