£900 Gaming Desktop (Spec me!)

I should soon be in the market for another gaming desktop, since my friend will be purchasing my existing one. (Which consists of an FX-8150, 16GB RAM, GTX 670 and 3TB HDD.)
With what I have saved, I should have a maximum budget of about £900. It doesn't have to be a like-for-like replacement, but I have no qualms with another AMD build. I don't require any peripherals, just the base unit and an operating system.

Two very solid builds! I'm spoilt for choice. The first seems to be lacking a PSU, and the second is limited to a stock CPU cooler, however.

Added the PSU. The board could be dropped to a 970 EVO R2.0 for about £45 savings and will still clock high.

I'd switch Stulids about to fit the 7970 TOP in.
But at 900 pound, a 4670K and 7970 is going to be pretty good.

If it is just for gaming on a single monitor, this will easily be all you need and more for a while.

Drop the RAM kit to http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-036-AR
Drop the DVD Drive.
Put in the Asus 7970 TOP.

Maybe drop the os, Microsoft offer three months trial for windows 8. After three months 'upgrade' to the full version or get window 7 if you don't like windows 8.

The £87 will allow you to go with the 7970 matrix over the 7970 top or upgrade something else or maybe just pocket the saving.

What's the consensus on Seasonic power supplies? Also, I'm not particularly fond of the white case, but I may be at liberty to increase my budget somewhat to accommodate the Corsair Carbide 200R.
