Hello,

Just asking for a suggestion on new PC build, my budget is £900 +-, I got keyboard/mouse/monitor - so I only need a PC suggestion focusing fully on gaming, btw I got w7 64bit disc, but not sure if I should get w10.

Thank you.

If you have w7 you should be able to install it, then upgrade to w10 for free. I'd stick with w7 for now though, till all the compatibility issues with w10 are ironed out.

Res is fine, you've just mentioned it the wrong way around or have turned the monitor into portrait mode.

Would be a shame not to get a modular PSU, especially as the budget allows. Also XFX aren't exactly renowned for their RMA service, so MSI is the clear winner.

Im wondering about this gpu, I'm not really up to date with the latest hardware, but, wouldn't some nvidia gpu would be better at this point for a similar price?

I'm just wondering though

Sure you can get a GTX 970, but there isn't much in it performance wise. It does however consumer less power. A disadvantage is that it's limited to 3.5GB VRAM whereas the R9 390 has 8GB which might be beneficial in some games, or if you decide to get a 1440p monitor in future.
