+1 I (personally) would switch out the 7950 for a Tahiti LE 7870, I might leave out the SSD and spend more on the GPU thinking about it but it's down to choice really. It's also a good idea to force him to choose the case (you might consider a windowed case... maaaaybe) and some extra fans too (as the shinobi only comes with one).

Very good point... Unless broadwell is pre soldered an upgrade could be on the cards..
