In a few months I will be going to upgrade my current case (corsair 800d) and corsair h100i to a corsair 900d and custom lwater cooling loop.

I was using a Cooler Master Cosmos II Ultra but they are nto what they are cracked up to be so gave it to my Son.

Anyhow I bought as in my sig.

OcUK Extreme Intel Core i7 4770K @ 4.6GHz+ Extreme Overclocked Bundle, with the Asus forular motherboard.

So I want to Wc my cpu as cool as possible and my Motherboard chipset.

first question is which is the best cpu watercooler for haswell ?
What is the real world difference between say a :

XSPC RayStorm CPU WaterBlock (Intel) Copper
XSPC RayStorm CPU WaterBlock (Intel)
EK Water Blocks EK-Supremacy Clean CSQ - Acetal + Nickel
EK Water Blocks EK-Supremacy Clean CSQ
Aqua Computer Cuplex Kryos .925 Silver Edition - Intel

Would the following fit Hardware Labs Black ICE Radiator GT Xtreme 560 in the roof of a 900d ?

or do I get

EK-CoolStream RAD XTX (480)

I have already got a Hardware Labs Black ICE Radiator GT Xtreme 360

so was thinking of a 480 in the roof and a 360 in the bottom or 480 in the bottom and a 360 in the top.

Yes im fully aware its most proberly overkill, but im thinking more cooling surface area more cooling.

I have got atm a EK Water Blocks EK-D5 Vario X-TOP - Acetal (incl. pump)(im pretty sure its borke though so id need a new pump.

I have also got a EK-BAY SPIN Reservoir CSQ - Acetal, I had nothing but problems with it , leaking and getting air out of the system, hense why I stoppe dusing a custom loop.

So im after a new pump and res defo not a bayres one. a tube res. any recomedations ?.

Where is the best place to place the tube res ?

I will have around £300 to spend.

are the monsoon fittings as good as they look ?.

So in short im looking for a new Wc setup

Cheers for the advice

Not familiar with the aqua computer block but the others are pretty much the same.

As for pump and tube reservoir, i would get another D5 Vario and stick tot he same top and just use ANY tube reservoir (pretty much all the same, only the finish and port placing changes). You can also get a D5 photon tube reservoir combo.

With the combo you dont need to care about reservoir position, as long as its not up-sidedown. For normal tube reservoirs, as long as its above the pump or feeds water to the pump when the loop is off, its fine.

Monsoon fittings are as good as they look. There use to be a few threads about having issues with them not compressing the tubing tight enough to seal it sometimes but they have since improved and i haven't heard any problems about their fittings since.

Well good news I was able to test my pump last night all works fine, it appears the setting was on the very lowest setting so it looked like it was hardly working.

As for the res. I was more after information sugestion on placement in a corsair 900d, sorry my bad for not explaining properly.

So in short I will need a 480 rad(The best one that will fit into my new case)
fittings(was thinking of bitspower blood red ones). ones to match the tublng.
x4 45 degries
x12 straight
x2 90 degries
tubing(clear 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD, 19/12.7mm)
ek 250 res
Iether a ek clear cpu block, which ever is the best performing one, to cool my best. I think I would prefer ek for the looks
x7 radiator fans(best ones available)
Fan controller(best one), which will able me to controle quite a few fans

So if anyone could do me one of those fancy basket links things I would be greatfull, could then show the wife.

Thank you very much for the help
