Hi guys. After a recent investigation into wc I was informed my antec 1200, big ad it is, might not be up to xfire or even tri-fire wc shinanegins. So ive started looking at cases... and I was set on the 900d then suddenly I see the cosmos 2...

Anyone give me the summary? Pros an cons?

Cheers fellas

Yeah the antec 1200 hasn't got much room for radiators and too be honest neither has the Cosmos, just take a look at it, a 360 in the top and 240 at the bottom is all you can muster, which isn't bad but compared to the 900D it is pretty lame.

Really you're choice should be between the 900D and Enthoo Primo.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Obsidian 900D Super Tower Case (CC-9011022-WW) £299.99
1 x Phanteks Enthoo Primo Full Tower Case £199.99
Total : £520.20 (includes shipping : £16.85).

That if you REALLY REALLY want Tri-Fire, If you're only going Xfire you can save a lot more money.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Obsidian 750D Full Tower Case - Black (CC-9011035-WW) £138.98
1 x Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Black (CC-9011030-WW) £129.95
1 x NZXT H440 Mid Tower Case - Black £94.99
Total : £385.34 (includes shipping : £17.85).

Lets discuss the top two cases shall we:

900D
  • Massive Radiator support
  • Ability to use thick rad's
  • Can run dual loops with ease
  • Dual PSU's

  • It is a Monster (size wise)
  • Expensive

Enthoo

  • £100 Cheaper
  • Massive Rad Support
  • Thick Radatiors
  • Dual Loops
  • Daul PSU's
  • Smaller while still having the space for Components.

  • Not much really. :)

900D is a lot better than the cosmos. the Enthoo is the case to get if water cooling is you sole aim but for me it dosnt look as good as the 900, if it was doing as large project i know which one i would choose.

I'd say 750d because it's a great compromise.
if you really need/ want a LOT of room go for the 900d.

I don't really get the Cosmos, huge with not great rad support.

I'd get the Enthoo, pretty much as good as the 900D for £100 less.

Another vote for the Enthoo if you want triple cards.

If not either the NZXT h440, Air 540 or the 750d would be a great option as doomed pointed out.

Best cases around at the minute. 900D is nice but for the cost the build quality in places isn't that great.

Or you could go balls to the wall and look at the Caselabs stuff. But that is a huge jump in price.

^^^Basically just this ^^^

If Tri Fire is a must then I would go for the 900D, if not then I would go for the 750D or the H440.
