900d owners question

hi guys I have bought a 900d for my dual loop x99 system. I was hoping to mount two ekwb reservoirs side by side between the motherboard (asus rampage v extreme eatx) and the drive bays. Does anyone know if there is space to do this? I have purchased cold zero motherboard tray if that helps.

Kinda wished I bought the case labs sm8 now as i really don't need the fixed place drive bays

One way to mount 2x ek250 res is to keep the top drive bay and mount the res side by side on the drive bay itself

Yes i think this is what I will have to do. Shame I really wanted to go side by side flat against motherboard tray. Serves me right for not researching properly.

you can still do it side by side. but best to make sure you have enough clearance for your card. i have seen people do this.

I am using 3 titan x. Any idea if this will be sufficient clearance? I will guess not

Right. i am running a ref. GTX 980. so im guessing the pcb length is the same as the Titan X.

After measuring you should be able to fit 2 EK 250 res side by side. its very close.

Looking at my initial 900D build you should just about manage to squeeze two side by side

Those are Titan's with EK FC waterblocks (I presume they're are the same length)

I'm currently rebuilding my system, so I can try putting the two res's together

If you don't need any of the drive bays, you can always drill out the rivets holding the ODD bays in
