So what are the main differences between the two antec cases, and are they worth the extra?

I'm ready to buy and am leaning towered the 902 just because. I need some sort of validation or it'll annoy me.

Thanks

I believe it's just a generally improved design, I own a 902 and a few friends own the 900.

I think an e-SATA port is added to the front, fan speed controllers added to the front and built in to the back of the case and better cable management are what makes the 902 an improvement.

IMO it looks a little nicer too. :p

902 vs 900, filtered vs non-filtered. I've got a 900 and they're basically vacuum cleaners if you don't filter it. I managed to filter ours but it's not exactly user-friendly when it comes to cleaning them lol

I'd get the 902 out of the two if I were you. Its filtered and looks a bit nicer too. I was in a simlar position last October when I was building my current rig though and ended up going for the lancool k62 over the 902 :p it's a great case as well.

Oh yeah, forgot about the filters. :p

There's two in the front and one on the side (though there is no fan there, but there is a slot for one), very handy to have, keeps the inside of the case nice and dust free.

It's a little bit of effort to get them out and clean them (you've got to take off both sides of the case and undo the thumb screws for the 2 hdd bays, slide them out the front and pull out the filters), but definitely worth it for keeping the case clean.

The only problem I've had with my case is that the top fan rattles a little if the surface the case is sat on vibrates. I've got mine sat on the floor, and if someone walks into the room it'll start rattling a little. I was worried it was a dodgy hdd for a while, but eventually worked it out. :p

Bit late in on this thread but you made the right choice, <3 the dust filters in my 902. That alone is worth the price difference to me (Plus I prefer the looks slightly.)

Thumbscrews on one side ;) I can take mine out and clean them while its still under my desk :)
