90mm case fans same as 92mm?

Hi
i wanna replace my case fans to something more quiet. The case has 3 fans and according to the manual 2 x 120mm and 90mm.

ive been looking around and i cant find any 90mm case, just 92mm ones.
will 92mm fans fit in my case?

btw im looking to get some Panaflo fans, are they silent?

I'd say the 92mm's will fit. could be a miss print. Zalamn do some 92mm's. There are some Panflows in 92mmm, one at 7v that does 28cfm @ 19dba

I would recomend some cheap coolermaster ones - i have 2 in the front of mine they are 80MM but they are only 14DB on full power, they are also blue LED's and only cost me £5 each. You can buy 90MM, i wanted 2 more 80MM but coolermaster dont make them anymore.

Im not sure if OcUK do them. Maybe try the coolermaster site. Ill try and post piccy.

anyway, so panaflo not silent fans then? also how do i control the fans voltage, do i need another cable or can i control it in bios?

Yeah i will. Well these fans came with a little peice of plastic on 1 wire and a 3 pin fan connector on the other, i turned the plastic with a scre driver on to full (yeah i looked at instructions) then plugged the 3 pin into my controller. Wire tied the cables off the 2 fans and sleeved them. Neat Job! There is also a 3 pin 2 molex connector in the box if you wated to run it of the power.

I have also heard that Asaka Ambers are quite good!, i got 1 for my side fan, but its a lil on loud side with full power (plugged in to controler). It's at about 18-20DB on full power.

The 120's are quite but not a lot of cfm's i found, the 92 and 80 i duno and the 60mm is pretty silent and good air flow.

I know u didnt ask me, but most fans will come with a 3 Pin Fan connector, this can be plugged into a controler. If its for CPU then it may possibly come with a seprate controler that justs takes up a PCI bay, but not the slot.
