Which US sitcoms did you watch in the 80's/90's
My favourite is one most British people have never even heard of. That being "Step By Step". ITV must have only ever shown series 1 and 2 in 1994 and 1995. Got through all episodes over a few weeks only as were broadcast 4 days per week, mainly during school holidays. God knows why they didn't continue through till 1998 which is when the final season was aired in the US. If you ever remember seeing that guy out of Dallas (Patrick Duffy) somewhere else, you likely remember Step By Step. I have actually seen every episode of every season, thanks to a cunning way to get a HBO max subscription and a US VPN. There was an earlier sitcom called Full House that as far as i know, hasn't been on UK tv? Was made by the same people as Step By Step.
My mother was a bit of a fan of The Golden Girls. And although not a sitcom, anyone remember Midnight Caller? Oh what great days.
