I know these are becoming rarer these days, but can someone recommend a good socket 939 AGP motherboard with reasonable overclocking features thats still available and not that hard to find for sale?

I've been looking at this one but to be honest don't know much about ECS or their reputation:

Many thanks :)

ECS are good reliable budget boards. But they don't over clock well.

If you can find an Asrock 939-DualVSTA, get one of them. I have one and I cant fault it. AGP and PCI-E which both run at their native speed.

Supposedly they're good overclockers too when you flash the BIOS to the latest version. :D

MSI Neo2 Platinum for the win. The DFI 939 AGP board has far to many issues to list, don't get it ;)

Seconded I had one and sent it back for a refund, the BIOS refused to store any settings

MSI neo2 was the best one until it died and now I am using the Asrock one, lets see how long this one will last.

Msi K8N neo2, K8n neo2 platinum ( dont get the neo or neo4 tho, neo = 754 and neo4 has pci-e ).
Asus A8V, A8V deluxe

MSI K8neo the best board, hmm well I guess when it worked it worked ok. But I had 3 boards fail on me and all 3 times it killed my RAM as well (thankfully Crucial are nice people and replaced it for me) this was without overclocking.

Maybe I just had extreme bad luck, and the guy I sold my last RMAd board seems to be running it fine.

Thanks for replies :)

I read that the MSI K8N neo2 was a good board but haven't seen it on sale anywhere for ages.

Also, does anyone know if theres an AGP board which will support a dual core CPU?

I think most boards will support it with a bios upgrade. Unless you got a really old 939 board you should be fine for dual core support.
