hi all

Im in the process of upgrading to A64 skt 939. Im looking for a decent clockable board with AGP compat, as i cant afford to upgrade the card and PSU at present in order to go over to PCI-e, and im quite fond of my old 6800LE too :D

been lookin online and cannot find a board that meets the above needs...ANYWHERE!, seems like agp based boards have disapeared off the planet :(

was considering one of the Abit boards that were available or a DFI. any one have any other boards i should look out for? or if anyone is considerin selling one of these type of boards on the members market soon, let me know :D

Cheers

Ben

Asrock 939 dual sata does agp and pcie also capable of 280 fsb.

yeah have been tryin to source one of those too, OCuk dont seem to have em in stock :(

Gibbo - you getting any more in my ol' china?

I have also been trying to source one of the Asrock 939 dual sata2 boards and take my word for it, no one is selling em any more (tried every Internet search known to man). By all accounts, Asrock have stopped making them, even though the VSTA version only came out a couple of months ago. A shame, as they would make a cracking cheap upgrade for people at the moment.

Quite happy to buy one though if OcUK was to get hold of any though.

Your best bet is probably the mm or a certain auction site.

cheers peeps

have been checkin members market and there are a few floating about on that certain auction site, if the MSi is not bad, and not gonna cost me my soul, i could be tempted.

one piece of advice, stay well away from the nf3 dfi.. I lost much amounts of hair on that one, did manage 3.1 gig out of a 3700 sd on vapo though, so can't all be bad.. just uber amounts of stress.

For if phatboy doesnt understand, That is the MSI K8N Neo2 platinum...

knew i'd forgot something. Anyway, I had one of these on a 3500 up to 260fsb. Can't remember if I went any higher. was a good board. I only got rid of it to uprgade my gfx.
