I am attempting to run Windows XP Mode under windows 7, It's telling me my processor doesnt support Hardware-assisted Virtualisation.

I have a lot of things disabled in my Bios, due to overclocking to 3ghz, is it possible I've accidentally disabled this feature?

Or is it a simple case that my CPU\Mobo doesnt have this feature in the first place.

your mobo has nothing to do with. XP virtualisation is done at the hardware level ie CPU side. its seems like your opteron doesn't support this feature. There is a prog from AMD which will determine this but i dont know it off hand.

You might have an option in the BIOS to turn it on/off, sometimes referred to as Vanderpool technology on older mobos.

But as above, I'm thinking your Opteron probably doesn't support it.

s939 opterons have never supported hardware virtualisation.

You can run a software only one but it's never going to work with windows 7 built in one.
