9400 GT and UT2004

sending one of these cards to my mate because he is still running on a FX5900. he plays UT2004 on low with that card along with a very old AMD CPU.

hes not in the best financial situation so hes getting donations from me and a few mates so he can continue to play on a reasonable system.

wanting to know if anyone is running this card and how well it can perform on UT2004.

It should handle UT2004 okay, much better than his FX5900.

im hoping that he can manage to get medium settings out of it. shouldnt be too hard for even a budget card to do these days

Has he got a pci-e slot on his mobo as fx5900 were mainly AGP with a few coming in

pci-e?

yes we are sending him a whole new setup basically. new mobo, CPU, RAM and PSU.
