Hello, I don't really know where else to look for assistance with this.
I only ever play Overwatch on my pc and I've owner my computer for 2 and a half years. It is a HP Omen pc i got for £600 (It was on sale from £800.) from Curry's PC World. It is insured. For a long time now it has been reaching 95 Degrees when just running low settings on Overwatch, capped at 61 FPS. I can't even squeeze in a few more frames without it becoming very loud and heating up. I'm worried about the long term damage of this. I have even cleaned the dust out a few months ago using compressed air and it has done nothing for it at all. I can only really assume that my PC cooler is just bad, unless there is a setting to make it run better or something. I would appreciate some guidance on what to do, thanks.

What is the cooler? Have you checked that the fan/s on it work?

If it's a liquid cooler I would check whether the pump has failed.

Have you moved the PC to a more restricted space recently e.g. under a desk?

When was the last time your system had a good cleaning? Like cleaning all vent filters, fans and cooler fins etc.

dont do anything to it without speaking to pc world first. i would think you taking it apart would void any insurance/warranty you have.

Agreed I’d say get in touch with pcworld first if it still has warranty and let them sort it.

Chances are it will just need a good clean and new thermal paste but it could easily be a faulty fan or cooler depending on what you have, best to not void the warranty/insurance.

If it’s not under warranty then we can go from there.

As stated, don't open and clean if doing so voids warranty.
But if it hasn't been cleaned sense new that could easily be the problem.
How dirty do intake vents look?
