Is it worth spending £105 on a phenom ii x4 955BE or should i just get this and unlock it - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-265-AM&tool=3

Hope you're still considering as it appears Phenom II's are currently in freefall (I'm wondering if their will be a tasty offering in TWO tomorrow) and prices seem to be doing a repeat of what happened when the 3800 and 3800X2 were discontinued!

Indeed, its great, my 1055T is still whooping its ass in benchies but the 955BE is still ploughing through anything im asking of it

i was gonna go for a 1055t but then decided on the 955 as its just as good

not just as good in fritz chess the 955Be is getitng like 13k scores, 1055T is hit like 27k
