I've had both, the 9600GT (£105) in Crysis gave me 35fps, and the 8800GT (£130) gave me 42fps, both cards being run in the same setup.....if you want more fps then for a few more £s the 8800GT is certainly worth it.....but if not the 9600GT is still a decent card.
