Hi I just bought a "Gainward GeForce 9600 GT "Golden Sample" 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort (PCI-Express) - Retail (9115)" and it is showing as only 256 meg on boot and in the program that comes with the graphics card, although it clearly says 512 mb on the box. any ideas?

See what GPU-Z says its got, if that says its only 256mb as well, then chances are they have sent you a 256mb version instead of the 512mb in the wrong box.
